If you have never submitted a grant request to DEW Foundation before simply follow the two steps outlined below.
If you have previously submitted an LOI or proposal and DEW Foundation was unable to issue a grant at that time, once again follow the two steps outlined below.
If you have previously been issued a grant by DEW Foundation, follow the two steps outlined below.
STEP ONE: LETTER OF INQUIRY (LOI)
LOIs are accepted before September 1.
All organizations must submit a letter of inquiry (LOI) to be considered for funding. Your LOI will be reviewed and submitted to our advisory board members to determine their interest in establishing a funding relationship. There are three ways to submit an LOI.
- Online Letter of Inquiry We prefer that applicants submit an LOI via our online submittal tool. You will be asked to submit basic organizational and project information. Access the online LOI application form
- Postal Letter of Inquiry If you prefer to submit an application by mail, please print out and complete a copy of our LOI form. Download the PDF version of the LOI template (122 KB)
- Faxed Letter of Inquiry Inquiry If you prefer to submit an application by fax, please print out and complete a copy of our LOI form and fax it to 847.901.9193.
If you submitted a letter of inquiry via postal mail or fax, you will not be able to access your letter of inquiry online.
STEP TWO: GRANT PROPOSAL
If your LOI is accepted, we will email you with instructions to access our on-line Grant Request Form. If your LOI is not accepted, we will contact you with that decision.
Please do not submit a grant request without an invitation to apply.
Grant requests that are submitted without using the grant request guidelines will not be considered for funding. |
